Micah Michael Interview
Miss West Virginia Teen USA 2008
Why did you decide to participate in the Miss WV Teen USA Pageant?
I began competing in a small fairs and festival pageants at the age of 14 and after some encouragement from friends who had watched me compete, I decided to start competing for the title of Miss WV Teen USA.
What was going through your head when you ere announced the winner of Miss Photogenic?
I was shocked! There were so many pretty and photogenic girls...I did not think that my name would be called so when it was I was thrilled!!!
What was going through your head before they announced you as the titleholder of Miss WV Teen USA 2008?
I was very very nevrvous and I kept thinking, please don't say my name as first runner-up!!!!
You will be heading to the Bahamas for Miss Teen USA in a matter of weeks, what are you most looking forward to(for Miss Teen USA)?
This question excites me because the pageant is almost here! I'm so excited to get to know the other titleholders! I got a chance to talk with some of the ladies when I was at the Miss USA Pageant this past April, but i'm really excited to bond with them a bit more and vie for the title of Miss Teen USA! I truly want WV to take the title of Miss Teen USA and i'm going to do my best to try and make it happen!
Who would be your favorite pageant winner and why?
Chelsea Cooley, Miss USA 2005! She is one unbelievable woman! I've worked with her this year to prepare for Miss Teen USA (through StandOut Productions) and she is truly real, genuine, beautiful, kind, and such a leader. She is so humble and does so much to help others.
Who would be your role model and why?
Without a doubt, my mom! My mom has been there for me through the good times and the bad times. She has taught me to be the independent, driven, kind person that I am. She serves others before herself and she is truly my best friend.
I'd like to thank Kristin Morrison for setting this interview up!
