Casey McClain Interview
Miss California Teen USA 2001 & Top 10 @ Miss Teen USA 2001
Why did you decide to compete in the Miss California Teen USA pageant?
My mother was in pageants and had always watched the Miss Teen USA pageant on TV when I was younger and knew one day I wanted to compete.
What was going through your head when you were called into the top 10 at Miss Teen USA?
It was almost like an out of body experience, I heard my state called but my legs almost did not want to move.
What would be your most memorable moment at Miss Teen USA?
How great my roommate was. I was blessed to be rooming with Marissa Whitley who won the title. She was so much fun. Also the relationships I had built at Miss Teen USA was great… many of us are still friends.
What emotions were you going through when you crowned the new Miss California Teen USA?
I was excited, and relieved…. It was my 3rd year going for Miss California Teen USA, I had received 1st runner up the 2 years prior.
What have you been up to since your reign as Miss California Teen USA ended?
Wow, A LOT ! I was an international model in Tokyo for a while then worked with the Miss Universe Organization and Scott Grossman as the Assistant Choreographer for Miss USA and Miss Teen USA for 4 years. Then became the lead choreographer for the Miss California USA and California Teen USA / K2 Productions. Now I live in Montana… A place away from the Rat Race and Traffic. I am married to an amazing Man and have my son Dylan and my daughter Abigail. I now own Rocky Mountain Entertainment Agency and work with local pageant contestants. RMEA represents Models, Actors and Musicians, But my love for pageantry is still a priority. We put on the Winning Workshop in Bigfork, MT and it is a great success. (Video is at www.rm-ea.com) I am blessed for all the continues opportunities that come my way because of the Miss Universe Organization and hope to one day become a MUO State Director.
